Bill Evans opened his 1979 album Affinity with a cover of Paul Simon’s “I Do It for Your Love,” from Simon’s 1975 album Still Crazy After All These Years.

The connection came through harmonica player Toots Thielemans, who brought the song to the session because he had previously worked with Paul Simon.
