3 Facts About Toto IV and the Band’s Original Lineup

  1. Toto IV was the last album to feature the band’s original lineup. Original bassist David Hungate and original lead vocalist Bobby Kimball both left after this record.

  2. Hungate and Kimball later returned to Toto. Hungate came back for a 2014 tour, and Kimball rejoined for a 2015 tour and subsequent albums.

  3. The album’s success didn’t keep the original members together. Despite winning multiple Grammys, the band still lost two founding members shortly after its release.
