Each side of the album had a different producer. Side one was produced by Arif Mardin, while side two was produced by Jerry Wexler and Arif Mardin together.

Arif Mardin handled the mixing duties for the entire album. This gave the record a consistent sound despite the split production.

Jerry Wexler only contributed to side two. His involvement was limited to the second half of the live recording.
